Adam Singer is a long-time veteran in global film distribution and film acquisitions with 10 years of experience; implementing sales strategies and marketing campaigns. His other areas of expertise include contract negotiation and strategic alliance. He was formerly Head of Acquisitions for Allumination FilmWorks/ContentFilm owned by Jeff Sagansky, former President of Sony Pictures and Kerry McCluggage, former Chairman of Paramount Television. Some of the past successes of the Allumination/Content have included their Co-Produced film, Thank You For Smoking which generated over $30 Million in U.S. Box Office gross and budgeted at $6.5 Million. He was responsible for acquiring and sourcing over 100 films for global distribution over the course of his career. He also brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in international sales where he was VP of Acquisitions and Co-Production for American World Pictures a leading independent production and international sales company. Singer has an understanding of both the domestic and international marketplace and has the ability to identify viable independent films for both markets. He has also worked in acquisitions for Cinemavault Releasing International; a Toronto based international sales and finance company where he was instrumental in acquiring the Shooting Gallery Library that included films such as Sling Blade which gave Billy Bob Thornton an Oscar for Best Screenplay and a nomination for Best Actor. He has recently Executive Produced the feature documentary, Free Wheels East narrated by Peter Coyote about the first two men to bicycle the world. The film had its premier at the Newport Beach International Film Festival in April 2010. He is currently representing the highly anticipated feature documentary, Fathers of the Sport, directed by Xavier Mitchell with Penny Marshall, Magic Johnson, Dr. J, Kareem Abdul Jabaar, Joe Bryant, Hawthorne Williams and many more. The film premiered this past August in Los Angeles was recently sold to Warner Brothers.
